Portugal I: Lisbon

With no real knowledge or background about Portugal beyond Vasco Da Gama (history books) and Cristiano Ronaldo, my wife and I decided to travel to Portugal on a whim – and partly because the name sounded cool!

Thus began our journey to a magical place that far exceeded our expectation at every turn. To be fair, we didn’t exactly know what we were getting ourselves into in the first place!

Our first stop on this grand Portuguese adventure was the vibrant, sun‑splashed capital itself — Lisbon.
